On April 14th, Jaime Fagúndez, the principal investigator of the LIFE in Common Land project at the University of A Coruña, presented at CICA (UDC) the work carried out over the past 5 years and the main results of the project.
This results presentation event is held annually at CICA - Interdisciplinary Center for Chemistry and Biology of UDC and includes a presentation of the projects completed in the previous year by their principal investigators. This event was attended by the Director of CICA, Jaime Rodríguez González, the Rector of UDC, Julio E. Albade Alonso, and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy, Research, and Transfer, Salvador Naya Fernández, as well as a large audience of over 50 people.
The area of restored habitats, the communal lands that will now follow a management plan based on conservation results, and the number of people reached through awareness and outreach activities are among the main results of the project, which can be found in the Layman's report, already published on our website.
